Adventure Acres Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Southern Colorado dedicated to reconnecting people to nature, cultivating regenerative land practices, and building pathways for outdoor education.
We focus on designing spaces and programs that revive ecosystems, support local families, and inspire hands-on learning for future generations.

What We Do

Restore the Land
Pollinator habitats, cleanup projects, native restoration, soil improvement, citizen science, and low-impact stewardship projects across Southern Colorado.

Schools, citizen science projects, outdoor camps, workshops, youth engagement, community skill-building, and regenerative agriculture education.

Create Meaningful Access
We’re developing land-based projects designed to reconnect people with nature through stewardship, outdoor learning, and low-impact recreation.
Happening Now in Southern Colorado
🔬 Citizen Science & Outdoor Learning
120+ Fremont County students are participating in a community-based citizen science pilot project focused on documenting local ecosystems and building hands-on environmental awareness.
🌱 Habitat Restoration & Stewardship
Pollinator habitat projects and stewardship initiatives are underway in Florence, Colorado and across Fremont County, supporting healthier ecosystems and community engagement.
🤝 Community Partnerships
Adventure Acres Foundation is building partnerships with schools, local organizations, landowners, and community spaces in Cañon City, Florence, and Penrose, Colorado, to expand access to outdoor learning and stewardship opportunities.
🏕 Community Stewardship Days
New hands-on workshops and stewardship events are launching with Observer Ranch in Penrose, Colorado, connecting people with practical skills, ecology, and land-based learning experiences.
